Subject:SF5 display issue..I think. Posted by: scottn Date:4/23/2002 10:58:49 PM I apologize in advance. I know exactly what's wrong, but I'm not sure i know the right term to describe it. Until a few days ago, sound forge always worked -great-. it was perfect for me. Then, however, i let an interested friend check it out, play with it a bit..and upon opening it tonight, it's completely different. when i opened an mp3 before, it had a..I'm not sure what to call it..a visual display of the song..blue peaks and valleys, white background. flat for silent, peaked for more sound? yeah, that. Yeah, well, now it's gray. All gray, with one flat line, and a tiny little black bar on top that speeds along w/ the song time. Nifty. But not at all what I want, and for the life of me, i can NOT figure out a way to change it back. Someone please help, before I'm forced to use system restore and kill my "friend". thanks in advance.

Continue to hold Ctrl+Shift until you see the splash screen appear. This will also work for any current version of Acid or Vegas. Caution - this will also reset all of your preferences. Ted
