As the subject says, is there an easy way to switch magnification ? I've set the default view to 1:64 which is good when sampling. But when editing the wave I always go straight to 1:1. is there any way to have a button or toggle (or something !) that will go stright to 1:1 instead of having to click the magnification icon ? |

In Sound Forge 6, you will be able to set up two custom magnification levels (any levels you choose) which you can then access either through toolbar buttons or the numbers 1 and 2 on the keyboard's numeric keypad. |

there's also a toolbar called "views" which allows you to set 7 zoom states which you can access with the number keys (not the numpad). They don't save except within Workspaces. |

for everyday zoom in/out & getting around in the file, i found using the arrow keys (up/down for time mag. - shift up/down for amp. mag.) to be the fastest method. JL OTR |

I use the mousewheel on my microsoft trackball explorer. With a 1/4 of a turn I nail usually the magnification I need. Its also handy in all sofo products! By far the quickest way to get around.[for me that is :) ] |
