Subject:recording what you hear?

Just got Sound Forge XP. I'd like to know how to record what I'm hearing on the sound card. For example I listen to Internet Radio and once in a while I'd like to record a song.

Is there a way to do that?

Double-click the little yellow speaker icon to open up the mixer control panel for your sound card. Choose Options, Properties, Recording. In the list of volume controls look for one named "What you hear", "Mixed output", or "PC Speaker" and place a checkmark next to it if it doesn't have one. Click OK. Select this input in the mixer and adjust volume as necessary.
