Side by side 3D display / render error

I upgraded to Vegas Pro 13 + 14 when that awesome Magix offer came up. Previously I've been using Vegas Movie Studio. To my delight, I was able to import/open Movie Studio .vf projects in Vegas Pro. Awesome!

I proceeded to render a higher quality version of an older stereoscopic 3D 2 x 1920x1080 video project I had.

But there seems to be something wrong with the side-by-side 3D video modes. In Side-by-Side Half, the left image is in normal but cropped aspect (=wrong), and the right image is stretched to half horizontally, as expected.

In Side-by-Side Full, the left image is black. This is happens both in the preview, and when rendering.

Top-Bottom Full appears to work fine, and seems to render to 1920x2160 okay as well.

Has anyone else had this Side-by-Side issue? Thanks!

Seems to work, thanks for the tip!

Or rather, not the encoding settings, but after I went to Options -> Preferences -> Video -> GPU acceleration of video processing = Off (it was Geforce GTX 970), the problem was fixed. Now both Left and Right are visible in 1920x1080 side-by-side Full mode.

But what could be causing this problem then? Lack of video memory perhaps? It has 4095 Mb. Kinda seems like it would be enough for 2 full HD frames. But then, it did work with Top-Bottom Full just fine earlier on.

Bug maybe?
