Now THAT looks great Eric.

Can't wait to start scribbling. Do I get to carry over my 19,274 postings score?

Great to know that this wealth of knowledge is not going to disappear into the ether.

This is really great news, many of us fearing that this wealth of information would disappear. Good work!

It looks to me like Magix is busting their fanny to make existing users feel at home. If they handle Vegas with the same dedication there should be a lot of happy campers.

Thanks Eric. Great news!

I hope all backlinks to the Vegas forum continue to work. My posts are full of them.

Happy to be a beta tester if you need any.

btw Eric, some of us love to have additional feature of the forum: e-mail notification regarding to any thread, or also something like 'Follow' feature in case that topic is interesting...

Perhaps you can forward this suggestion to the web/forum developer team ?

At this point Grazie I'm like many, feeling Vegas is still a strong workhorse. It would be great to see performance upgrades for newer formats and improved color handling for s-log and such. I'm patient.

Yes... it looks great from a producer who produced 76 episode's airing on International TV using Vegas Pro.

HM? "Yes... it looks great from a producer"

You've lost me, please explain.

I assume he means "This looks great", ~ from a producer ... as in he, as a producer, is saying it looks great.

I am very happy to hear this treasure trove of Vegas information will be preserved! There are two improvements I hope the new forum will offer:
1. Responsive mobile (i.e., automatically resize to fit mobile screen)
2. One click to view all of my recent posts so I can easily see if I owe someone a response

Hi everybody,

As already announced at magix.info, we'd like to give you the option to continue using your existing accounts.

Here's how it works. As soon as the VEGAS Community is online, you can register there. As soon as you have entered your first name and surname, you'll be assigned a temporary username. Please do not change this username. You will get your normal SCS username back afterwards. Next, enter the email address you use to register with the SCS forum.

Go to your email inbox. You should see a welcome email with a confirmation link. Click on the link and login into the VEGAS Community. You'll then be automatically redirected to your old account and will get your old username back, along with all your threads and comments.

Here's a little TL;DR

· Register with the new VEGAS Community

o Use generated username temporarily

o Enter old email address

· Receive welcome email

· Click activation link

· Access your migrated account.
