That is a compelling case that your files contain too many stream errors to be edited, and I bet they were recorded over-the-air. You would never run a file through VRD more than once, because sync errors would be compounded. Sorry, if VRD can't do it, you're probably out of luck.
My grandfather's favorite line was, "You can't make a silk purse from a pig's ear."
Vegas is not designed, nor should it be in my view, to deal with corrupted files.
As others have pointed out, VideoRedo is designed to do this. There are also other software programs that may help. Go to Videohelp.com and search under their Tools section.
You might also try to load your problem file into Handbrake and see if you can re-render it. Depending on exactly what type of file you have, you might also try using tsMuxeR and remux to another container.
BillieRay,
Your question was answered in its entirety, as well as in your DUPLICATE thread last week.
Choosing to ignore those answers raises a red flag, so best of luck.
Glad your problem is solved. It would be nice for you to share your solution with forum members so we could learn exactly how you did it and how it might help others in the future.
