I'm new to Vegas. I watched a lot of videos and I'm a couple hours in my 1st project . I wanted to learn Vegas to do 2d explainer videos and because I found Camtasia to limited. But more time I pass with Vegas, I find it a bit difficult to do animation with the crop/pan window, track motion with the animation track oriented instead object, track hierarchy...
The most dissicult to adapt too is that you don't work directly with the objects like in Camtasia.

So my feeling at this point is that Vegas is more a "clip" editor and less of a 2d animation tool that could do things like :

am I right ? If I am, does any of you have a tool to suggest ?

Thanks,
Seb

Vegas is not intended as an animation program, sorry.

Maybe Adobe Animate CC is worth a closer look.
