What leads you to think that this will not work with ACID Music Studio 9? I appears to be available as a VSTi instrument which I believe Music Studio 9 supports (at least 10 does).

Have you read that it doesn't work?

Version 9 does, too.

the product page says Requires Free Engine 2.3.0.25 or newer.
http://www.bestservice.de/en/era_ii_medieval_legends.html

i interpreted that to mean only works in their s/w?

scared to spend that much and might not work. >.<

thanks. :)

Yes, and Engine 2.3.0.25 works as a stand-alone application or as a plug-in VST. So it should work with ACID Music Studio.

Since the Engine is free, I recommend that you download it and install it as a VSTi plug-in and see if Music Studio can load it. It might not have any instruments in it but if it loads, it should work when you add instruments.

It should be available as a virtual instrument in ACID that you can assign it to a MIDI track.

If you don't see it, I'm guessing that at some point the installer would have prompted you for a path to install the VST plug-in. You then need to point ACID to that same path in the Preferences so that it can find the plug-in.
