Using Sound Forge 10 and loving it..

However doing some standard editing and key things keep going missing at important times??

I was using Pitch Bend, then needed Pitch Shift (standard version in Effects list > Pitch) that comes built into SF?

I click on the pitch and just nothing happens?? Almost as if its missing?

I'm sure I had this a couple of days ago with another standard built in SF effect
Whats happening??

Still getting this on SF10 (latest) and missing built in effects?

I try to use Pitch, which just doesn't open but Pitch bend does?
Same with Reverb? Just no response when activating from the process list?

I've only just reinstalled this (acid Pro 3 on same system) but i wouldnt have thought that made any difference as I have had them living fine side by side like 1000's of others.

I love SF but am thinking of migrating if i can't pull and open internal processes and effects when needed for editing projects?

As I recall,. sometimes when uninstalling one SCS app, takes some of the shared FX plug-ins with it.
Reinstall SF with the latest build, do not uninstall it prior...nor you should you need to. All the custom settings should remain intact as well.

Really?

I can understand that but these were built in processes and not even Sony plug ins

Things missing were actual actions that SF does like pitch, reverb built in and not a specific plug in even if it is a shared Sony one?

I had this problem a while back with Wave Hammer, which is an internal function. Wave Hammer surround worked fine so i used that instead in an emergency. Oddly enough Wave Hammer stopped working in Vegas at the same time too.

A reinstall of Sound Forge fixed it.
