Sound Forge with Vegas Pro 13

Sound Forge 11 pro works fine as a standalone but when from Vegas Pro I try to open a clip in Sound Forge I just get the message...

"Registration of Sound Forge 11.0 requires elevated privileges.
If your user account does not have sufficient privileges, you will be prompted to provide administrator credentials.
After this step is completed, Sound Forge Pro 11.0 will be registered for all users.

What is the problem here because it is already registered, I have it set to open as administrator too, can anyone help?

I had this. Do you not have success after PC reboot?

You may have a variation on a long existing problem with SF11, the difference being that the message usually occurs when trying to open the SAL as well.

The 11th post - by GoatBoy - provides a workaround that has worked for me and for others. I've found, however, that the SF11 opening problem occurs every 3 to 4 weeks, and it's back to the registry to do the registry hack again, not that it's all that hard to do - it's just very annoying. Naturally, altering the registry is at your own risk, and doing a back-up of the registry entry before changing it is always a good idea.

Another method is to open up Windows' hidden Administrator account (7, 8, 8.1 or 10) and install VP11 via the Admin account. Please note that the Admin user account is not the same as your usual user account that has administrator privileges, it is a separate and hidden account that needs to be activated via "Command Prompt (Admin)". A quick Google search re enabling the Admin account should give you quite a number of sources for the method of enabling the Admin account.
