Friends,

I found this by accident, and the question, is it just me or everyone else ?!
- Sony Vegas Pro 13 build 444, added with free SeMW extensions, and I just having major crash yesterday and need to upgrade Catalyst driver to 14.12

Step to reproduce:
1. Start project in 30p (29.97) or 60i (59.97), put any random video or generated media.
2. Render to Mainconcept AVC, use Internet template 1080p or 720p, then, customize frame rate to 25p (since I live in PAL area, I already have preset for 25p render templates).
3. You will notice the Project frame rate changes to 14.985p ! And, if you use SeMW extension Render progress, you will also notice a different progress bar to Vegas' original.

The Internet preset has the "Allow source to adjust frame rate" option checked by default. My general advice is that you never ever want to check that box because it indeed makes it render at half the project framerate (14.985) instead of the framerate you entered (25.000) when it is lower than the project framerate (29.970).

ah, I see...

So that's the purpose of that setting... Ok, has been turned off.

Thanks for the explanation, Michael.
Also, thank you for developing those extensions. Very useful to me.

By the way, I suppose that's also why the render progress dialog gets confused about the actual progress here. Like you, it would expect that at 25 fps, 250 frames need to be rendered for a 10 second video, whereas Vegas reports completion after only 149 frames.
