In my other threads lamenting my woes with trying to find some sort of reasonable media management in Vegas 13, I stumbled across this: Any more than a few bins just doesn't work.
So, please try this and see if you can confirm whether this works for you or not. I'm using Vegas 13, build 428
1. Create a new empty project, with no media.
2. In the Project Media window, right click Media Bins and pick "Create new bin"
3. Create 30 empty bins (you can just accept the default numerical numbering it names them).
4. Save the project.
5. Close Vegas, and then restart it.
6. Try to open the 30-bin project.
For me, it just hangs for minutes on end. I think it eventually comes up. I also tried this in Vegas 12 on a different computer with the same result.
Can anyone get this to work? If not, I'm not going to even bother trying to clean my system and reinstall everything.
