Standalone DVDplayers not playing "Play All"-lists

Hi there,

I've created a quite simple dual-layer video DVD with menus using DVD Architect 6.0 Pro. The disc has a small intro video and then a Main Menu appears once the intro video has ended.

The Main Menu has three different choices and three buttons:

1. Play all (Segment #1 -> Intermission video clip -> Segment #2),
-> Return to Main Menu

2. Play Segment #1 only
-> Return to Main Menu

3. Play Segment #3 only
-> Return to Main Menu

All menu buttons are linked to three individual playlists containing the media files in appropriate order ( "All" / "Segment 1" / "Segment 2").

The DVD disc works perfectly when previewing it in DVDA Pro and upon playback on a PC after authoring & burning a disc - whether I'm burning an .iso image that's then mounted to a virtual drive, or an actual physical disc burnt straight from the program.

There's absolutely no problems when viewing the disc on a PC.

However, standalone DVD/Blu-ray players seem to get stuck whenever the "Play All"-playlist option is chosen - the first segment media plays just fine, but when it comes to an end, you have to press the next/skip -button for the next media content to start playing. The "Play Segment #1 only" or "#2 only"-selections work well with standalone players, so the only problem I have is the "Play All"-selection.

I'm a bit confused with what I'm actually doing wrong here? The weirdest part is that it plays exactly like it should on all PC players I've tried and even in the DVDA Pro preview mode, but standalone players don't co-operate. What am I missing here? Any ideas? Thanks a lot in advance!

EDIT: I've corrected the actual details of the disc, here's the disc structure:

Someone has reported issues with Version 6. If you have version 5, you might try it there.

Thank you a lot for the tip!

Yes, I have DVDA Pro v5.2 as well, might have to check out what can I come up with that.

Shame on Sony if this is one of their bugs ... *sigh*

I tried authoring the same project with DVDA Pro 5.2, the results were even worse (intro video wasn't shown at all and in the Main Menu, there was only the "Play All"-navigation button visible). So, no bonus.

I've already contacted Sony Customer Service and they asked for the .dar project file. Let's see what they come up with. I'm running out of blank DL-DVD-R discs and ideas to try out.
