Mike thanks for taking the time to track a POST, post-webinar option.

Steve, Mike, what were your impressions of it? I was impressed with the comparisons with "other" denoisers. Makes me confident that I've purchased an excellent plug that has put User-GUI ease at the top of their list of s/w design. Having said that, the advanced pixel peeping of noise using the Y BnW for deeper revelations needs me to explore further. But now Mike has kindly posted the link I'll re-review.

Grazie

Any further thoughts on Neat vs other tools? Is Neat Pro required, or will Neat Home suffice for most uses?
DeadRadioStar wrote on 7/15/2014, 11:16 AM
Neat is the business as far as I'm concerned .... the only difference between the Home and Pro versions is that the Home version is limited to maximum 1280x720 24-bit RGB, but you can always upgrade for the difference in price.

+1 for Neat Video.

Thanks also for the link on the tutorial. I've been getting good results just with the default settings so actually knowing what I'm doing will be a big bonus!

Regards,

Kimberly

Jan Ozer's tutorial is rather basic, he completely glossed over the most important task; building a good noise profile. Watch this video (presented in two parts) to really get the most out of Neat Video:
