I have Magic Bullet Looks 2.5 installed on Vegas 13. If I copy an event that has a MB FX on it, the FX is still in the chain, but it loses all the internal MB tools - i.e, it's an empty "look".
This also happens if I use copy and then paste attributes to another event..
Using Copy and then Paste Event Attributes to another clip, I get MB Looks 2.5.1 copying into the chain in VP 13 310. While all of MB's tools and the table of Looks choices are all there in the copied FX, the specific Look selected for the original video clip has not copied over to the subsequent clip/s. All I had to then do was to select the relevant Look and all was back to normal.
However, if you have tweaked a Look, the inability to fully copy MB Looks to another clip will no doubt cause a headache, unless you save the tweaked Look in the original clip as a Custom Look.
Nonetheless, I would have thought that MB Looks FX should copy over as a complete copy of the original FX.
I saw this problem today as well. Interesting note is that the previous version of Looks 2.0 works fine with copy/paste so it's definitely a problem with Looks 2.5.
I can also confirm this behavior. I created a preset that I had to select on each event with MB fx applied. Would be a real pain with many such events, however.
I can also confirm this. Until it's fixed, save your "created" look as a custom look and then call it up on each clip. Or, place all clips to be effected on an isolated track and put the look on that whole track. This will save a lot of time.
Good luck,
Robert
