Subject:SF Mac crashes during Record

Hi,

I recently bought SF Mac 2.0 for my MacMini Server. I'm running OSX 10.9.2, 2 GHz Core i7 processor, 8 GB of RAM. My interface is a Mackie Onyx 820i.

I'm only recording two channels of stereo audio. I've tried restarting the computer and the interface. It crashed every single time. The program "quits unexpectedly."

Anyone else experience this? Thoughts?

Thanks!

If you use the built in audio on your Mac, does the problem still happen?

Have you changed the default audio hardware routing preferences?

Have you altered your system default audio device and it's settings?

Thanks for the response.

I have not tried using the built-in audio.

I did change the routing, because the 821 is an 8-input device, I wanted to record what was coming in on channels 5 and 6, so I set those as the inputs to SF.

For what it's worth, I hid the record level meters and was able to record without a crash. But, it seems to me I should be able to have the meters active, yes?
