Thanks for that info, and while I appreciate the gesture, I've had about all the NB "taking care of" I can stand. ;-(

At least now there's a cheap way to continue to use TP1 in VP13 which didn't exist before but I agree, as a way of repairing customer relations, would it have hurt NB so much to offer this for free? As someone who bought TP1, 2 & 3, I wouldn't begrudge TP1 owners being given a free serial for VP13. The gesture might lead them to upgrade to TP3 in the future.
