The chat service is OK. It is not for tech support however so if that's your goal you'll have very short chat and they'll open a traditional ticket for you. However if your issue is simple or registration related the chat is helpful. Perhaps it is instead of the registration phone number they used to have...

Yesterday evening, installing V12 and DVDA onto a new Win 8.1 dual boot partition, I couldn't get them registered on-line. Started up live chat, and within 5 mins she had reset my install 'quota' for me. Great service. :-)
