Hi! I have an Axiom 49 Mark II midi keyboard, I'm wondering how can I map my transport buttons, faders & knobs to work on my ACID Pro 7? I'm a new to ACID & quite lost...I'm able to play the keys but those mentioned above are useless at the moment.

Quick & dirty version:

(Take note this assumes you have MIDI setup correctly between ACID and the Axiom.)

-On the menu bar, click Options > Preferences > External Control & Automation
-Under "available devices," choose, "Generic Control," then click, "Add"
-Double-click the new listing under, "active control devices"

Let's say you want the "play" transport button on the Axiom to start playback in ACID:

-Under, "View function group," choose, "Transport"
-Check the box towards the lower right labeled, "Learn"
-Click the host command labeled, "Transport.Play"
-Press the play transport button on your Axiom; a message should be sent and the UI should reflect this

Click OK all the way back out. On the menu bar, click Options > External Control. The Mixing Console should now reflect that an external control is active. (Maroon-colored bar.) Pressing the play transport button on the Axiom should start playback in ACID.

You can now go back into External Control & Automation and add more host commands under various function groups (like the other transport commands like stop or record).
