Subject:Registration problem

My copy of SpectraLayers has decided it's not registered. It won't allow me to complete the registration process either, although it refers to my previously registered serial number. Anybody know what the deal is?

Update: Since I needed to get this resolved quickly, I decided to call. It turns out that I had exceeded the number of allowed registrations for my serial number - not my fault mind you, SpectraLayers has needed to be re-registered several times on my computer, for some reason.

But there didn't seem to be any way to reach a support person at Sony without paying $29.95. So I did, although I'm not too thrilled over that...

SpectraLayers will have to be reactivated whenever there is a "configuration change" in the system. I suppose this was originally intended to cover changes in hardware, but in my case, it considers it a "configuration change" whenever my laptop turns on or off its bluetooth. Once your activations run out, you need to contact support and ask for more.

I have the same problem except that it requires registration every time. Having to register each time - and ask customer service to give me more registration attempts is not a solution that users should have to go through. The program I have purchased and registered should open when I want it.

I have gone through Customer service but they cannot seem to fix the problem and the fix they gave me (changing the registry editor) turned my sound off.

If anyone can tell me if a router (with its built in firewall) is the problem I would really appreciate it.

I have the same problem now, I tried to install Sony Vegas 10 yesterday and I couldn't.
