Here's some answers to this frustrating battle. This is a copy & paste of the emails sent back and forth between a MidiMan tech support and I.

We will be releasing a new revision to the current .41 that will include a Multiclient Switch. All driver updates and information will be posted on our web site at (www.midiman.net) as soon as it becomes available. For now you are good to stay with the .27 driver. We here at Midiman do apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing you. We do look forward to offering you the revision to the current v4.1.22.41 driver. Best regards. Calvin ----------- I guess we'll see if this actually works. Let's cross our fingers!!!!

Thanks for this JimT - glad to know I'm not alone - but I notice that it was a month ago that M-Audio said that they would produce a revised driver... - par for the course there I guess. I think that Sonic should take some responsibility here though - The driver record fine in other packages - It is just hit and miss in VV3. I can do identical recordings one after another and only 30% will be good - the rest crackle as if I'm using a low buffer or something. Do you know if there is a forum for the 1010?? - Thanks.

Wow--I just found this, and I'm relieved that I'm not crazy!!! I'm using 4.13.01.0041 drivers and also have clicks throughout seemingly random takes.

SF, any advice?
