First thing to check - do you have Quicktime installed on the computer?

I do. 7.7

Strange. Following a recent crash and reinstall, my V12 build 536 also had no QT templates - I checked after replying to you. Now I have just downloaded and installed QT 7.7 and Quicktime now appears in my render options.

I just removed 7.7 and re-installed 7.6, but I still have zero QT options in Vegas. I removed iTunes and that iCloud thing just to be sure and still nothing. It's really bumming me out...

Have you installed anything else recently?
Codec packs (especially K-Lite) are a real no no if you have.
A reinstall of Vegas may be necessary :(

I don't know what K-Lite is... I haven't installed any other software other than a few vsti's. I made sure to disable all of them in Vegas. I didn't have a vegas job for a couple of months and noticed as soon as I "upgraded" to 536 that I was unable to render out to my DNxHD codec. I posted something about that last month but got no real response. I just finished a vegas project. I did a clean install of both VP12 , Avid LE 2.3.8, Quicktime 7.6 and I said a few cuss words...just in case.
Still no luck.

Glad to hear that.
If you want to install build 394 and don't have it, you can get it at http://download.sonymediasoftware.com/current/
Direct link is http://download.sonymediasoftware.com/current/vegaspro12.0.394.exe

I am still trying to figure this out. Does everyone have Microsoft Silverlight? That is a new software I have installed between VP12 working great and now having no QT options.

I have done another clean install of VP12 and I still don't have Quicktime render templates. I just opened VP11 and I have them there. Does ANYONE have any possible idea? I am really baffled...
