What operating system are you using and is it the 32-bit or 64-bit version? How fast is your processor and how much RAM do you have?

What is your computer's graphics card, and have you gone to the ATI or nVidia web sites to ensure you have the very latest driver?

Are you shooting in AVCHD mode or MJPEG-AVI mode?

Which version of Movie Studio are you using and what are your Project Properties?

Remember that only the most recent version, Movie Studio 12, can take full advantage of the 64-bit operating system and GPU acceleration.

However, if you are shooting in AVCHD and your project properties match your video specs, you will get the best performance and refresh rates possible with the 32-bit program.
