most of the time when I record through the Delta 1010 inputs, the audio is completely unusable. Full of pops and clicks. I haven't had a response from m-audio yet (two weeks after I let them know - great support that)
I've tried different drivers, removing other soundcards etc... I'm now using the latest .41 drivers for win9x.
I've also tried disabling USB on the board, and tried different VIA 4 in 1 drivers.
playboack through the card works fine, and my Gadget labs Wave 8*24 card records perfectly.
Here's my system config:
Win98 SE installed from OEM disk.
Direct X 8.1
AMD Athlon XP 1700+
512 MB DDR SDRAM
Soltek SL-75DRV 2 (VIA KT 266A based board)
Nvidia Geforce DDR 32MB Graphics
2x IBM 7200RPM 40.1 GB Hard Drives
M-audio Delta 1010
Gadget Labs Wave 8*24
I'm at a loss, feeling like I've wasted my money.
Anyone else got these problems?
Jason
