Is it possible to create a click track using Sound Forge Pro 10.0? I'm outputting portions of a song for playback in a music video, and I need a click track to lead into each part.

Not that I'm aware of in SF. Vegas (pro) always had that feature. Not sure about 11-12 or Movie studio.
You can create a "Click Track" in the freeware DAW 'Audacity'.. I believe in the "Generate" menu... then render it as a Wave file and open it in SF, a long way around, but it gets you there.
Other than that: http://www.metronomeonline.com , if your PC can record your sound card's output. (what you hear)

I have Vegas Pro, and I've searched the help file. It has a metronome feature, but apparently the metronome clicks cannot be rendered into a mix.

If necessary, I'll just assemble some equally-spaced beeps on the Vegas Pro timeline as a lead-in. Do you know where I might find some choice beeps online?

Thanks. Those will do nicely.

Neither Vegas, ACID, nor SoundForge will record any of the sounds that they themselves produce (why, Sony, why?????). However, any of them will happily record the sounds that the *others* make.

You could start the metronome running in Vegas, then have Sound Forge record the "what you hear" mix from your sound card.
