Having trouble sharing completed Acid Music Studio 9 .acd files with another musician who also has AMS 9. We cannot open the .acd files we e-mail back and forth for editing or enhancements. The attachment will open AMS 9 but an error occurs because the system can't recognize the path. I am running WIN 7 64bit and he has Vista 32bit. Any suggestions? We both chose the same software so we could share files and edit/change as we saw necessary. Tried rendering to WAV files but they won't e-mail because the file sizes are too big. Help and "keep on rockin in the free world".

Are you saving as .ACD-ZIP instead of just .ACD? (File > Save As > Save as Type at the bottom.)

ACD-ZIPs compress the entire media along with the ACID project.

Thanks for the quick reply. Will try the .acd-zip method for my next project and e-mail to the other dude and see if it opens the entire event in AMS-9.

The .acd-zip did the trick. Many thanks to your method for solving my problem!
