Subject:DVDA and Vegas Movie Studio - 5.1 Surround Sound ?

Does DVD Architect Studio support multichannel 5.1 surround sound with Blu-Ray AVC projects or 720p MPEG-2 projects ? - my version does not seem to do this ? -

DVD Architect is rendering the resampled (stereo) audio tracks silent when any video files with multichannel w64, AC3, or PCM audio are added to the project ?

Should Surround-sound projects be burned with Vegas Movie Studio instead of DVD Architect Studio ?

Suggestions are welcome, please !

Can I burn a Blu-Ray disc with 5.1 Surround Sound Using the Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum software?

In Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum you have the ability to burn a Blu-Ray disc with 5.1 Surround Sound directly from the timeline. The Audio Tab of the Project Properties of your Vegas Project file must be set to Master Bus mode : 5.1 Surround in order to burn a Blu-Ray with Surround Sound.

To burn the disc, Navigate to Tools - Burn Disc - Blu-Ray Disc. This will provide you a Single Movie Blu-Ray disc with no menus.

If you require a Blu-Ray disc with 5.1 Surround Sound and menus, you will need to upgrade to Vegas Pro. You will need the DVD Architect Pro software, only available with Vegas Pro, in order to create a Blu-Ray disc with 5.1 surround sound and menus.

Only the pro version of DVD Arch can create 5.1 surround sound blu-ray. The consumer version can only do uncompressed stereo.
