Multiple Timelines/Sequences Yet?

Does the new version of Vegas Pro support multiple timelines/sequences yet? I currently use Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 and having multiple timelines/sequences is an absolute must for any editing program. I tried Vegas 11, but quickly dumped it due to this limitation. I am interested in giving 12 a try, but not if they don't have multiple timelines/sequences.

No, you can not embed timelines in Movie Studio 12, tom.

Vegas Pro took a different approach and they supported Nested Timelines. It's the same concept basically. You can nest an entire project within another project and it behaves like a single piece of media. You can right-click on it an any time and edit it in another instance of Vegas Pro and the changes will be reflected back in your original project when you save and close it.

Premiere Pro doesn't support having multiple copies open at once like Vegas Pro does so they opted for the multi-sequence approach. I personally like the way Vegas Pro uses nesting because I can reused nested projects in many different projects. I'm not sure it's that easy to share sequences.
