Hello, no upgrade paths?

Would someone please download the trial and open the zipped file to see what it contains? No mention of Production Assistant 2, or DVD Architect 6? OR ???????

Sony launch is quiet.

DVD Architect 6 :

2.0 What's New

Support for burning stereoscopic 3D video to Blu-ray Disc.
Interactive tutorials.

Is this a joke ?

You can download DVDA Pro 6 from the trial downloads area.

Curious tho' what about the early adopters of VP12?

Are we again dumped by SONY by not releasing DVDA6 with VP12 outside of the suite?

Fullprice? Upgrade Price? Upgrade paths?

AND, of course, as others in this thread have suggested, they are drawing the conclusion that this is not "A" package that includes HitFilm Ultimate. But, look at videoguys including the SCS logo for their upcoming announcement - except the word HitFilm Ultimate has been mysteriously been erased from the pic. Hmmm? What could that mean, ..the package deal is already dead in the water?

I downloaded DVD A 6.0 and installed and it wants a serial number even though I have Vegas Pro 12 and DVD A 5.2. Is this correct? That means I have to purchase it?

Sony want me to pay £450/$715 to upgrade from Vegas Pro 12 to their Suite! I'll pass on this and wait until Hitfilm 2 is on sale. Even at full price Hitfilm 2 is £250/$400 and Sound Forge is £290/$460 = £510 total. DVD Architect 6 is a free upgrade. So the Suite offers a £60 discount but a £260 surcharge because it includes Sound Forge - a product I don't even want.

Sony, how about an upgrade discount to Hitfilm 2 only?
