Fullprice? Upgrade Price? Upgrade paths?

AND, of course, as others in this thread have suggested, they are drawing the conclusion that this is not "A" package that includes HitFilm Ultimate. But, look at videoguys including the SCS logo for their upcoming announcement - except the word HitFilm Ultimate has been mysteriously been erased from the pic. Hmmm? What could that mean, ..the package deal is already dead in the water?

Be careful. What Videoguys.com offers - the Master Suite - is not same as the Vegas Pro Suite (e.g. the Master Suite lacks HitFilm Ultimate).

I'm sure we'll get an upgrade path, if any, when it becomes available.

Personally, I've always found this new version of "announce THEN release" a bit odd. What ever happened to "announce AND release?"

Anyway, we'll find out soon enough.

Some expressed considerations of market turf- Adobe vis-a-vis SCS:

"The Adobe bundle includes Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver ....
The Sony offering will appeal to those who want a video/movie based suite without the web page distractions of the Adobe bundle. At a price of up to $900 per year the Adobe 'cloud' package may have some appeal in the US, but elsewhere, even for a download from a US server and non-local support, the pricing is not far short of predatory, e.g. the same item actually costs 48% more in the UK.
