Call me a cynic, call me disappointed, call me embarrassed for Sony and the coders, but SF Mac should NOT have been released in the form it's in. Feels more like a public beta release than a 'final' software release. So many features people are asking for that Peter or someone else from Sony comes on and says 'this will be addressed in an update'. Even more disappointing considering Bias closed up shop and they were the premier waveform editor on Macs. Many people just don't get along with Steinberg (Wavelab) products and their copy protection scheme and Adobe Audition doesn't get the respect it deserves from the general audio community (although it does have a devoted following in the voice over and TV community) so SF Mac was like a breath of fresh air. Instead it's more like getting fresh air in LA - pockets of it but nothing making it worth moving there.

Like someone said who is a veteran of the SF Win history: don't hold your breath waiting for fixes/updates.

I agree, as a 15 year professional user of Sound Forge on Windows I feel ripped off by this Mac version. The software as it stands should be a free beta, it is not fit to be sold for the price they are asking. If only I could get my money back...
