What's the native language of your OS X install, gspeccher?

First: make sure English is the second language listed in System Preferences -> Language & Text. (Presumably Italian is the first one listed. Keep it there.)

With the app closed open finder, navigate to the folder where you've placed the "Sound Forge Pro.app" and right-click the application and choose "Show Package Contents".

Go to "Contents" -> "Resources" -> and delete the "Italian.lproj" folder.

Relaunch Forge and the problem should be resolved.
