That's a neat idea...I suspect a lot of producers would go the FX route rather than shooting it practically.

My favourite steadi/glidecam shot of all time is still .

I mean...c'mon...ride a Segway full-throttle and then step off into a full gallop...UP a step and onto stage?! On LIVE TV?!

ps: my heart goes out to the zoom/focus puller...he has to run the whole way.
