Vegas is Freezing!

I'm using the latest version of Vegas Audio, and after I shut down the program and open it up again without shutting down the computer it freezes. I can't use playback, record, etc. Anyone have any ideas? I'm using Windows XP with a Midiman Delta 44 card.

have you tried cleaning off your Delta drivers and re-installing them? (try the latest version of your Delta drivers)

it sounds like it may be hardware related... how bad does the pc freeze? can you move the mouse?

The whole computer doesn't freeze....it's just that I can't play Vegas....The BUs levels start and then freezes. It is trying to start, but something is keeping it from playing. I will try to reinstall the Delta drivers.

You might want to pay attention to the fact that your O.S. is very new. I would check with bugs and compatibility of this oh, so fresh xp as well.

How long do you think I should expect to wait before both programs are bug free? That's what I expected.

I had this problem under Win 2k. SP2
I work with Vegas Audio 2.0h, Antex L24m sound card, 256MB ram.
