render format for PAL 720 x 576 Wide

Hi all,

I'm fighting with a PAL 720 x 576 Wide screen source rendering.

With a PAL system / Widescreen IMX (720x576; 25,000 ips) template, it is super sharp in Vegas. Vegas display it in 1049 x 576.

But rendering in 1049 is not very codec friendly. Any idea? I tried 1048 x 576 (Sony mpeg4) and i truly lose the original sharpeness... :-(

My guess is that the reason you're seeing it in Vegas at that resolution is because you have your preview window set to that size.
Render it out at the original res of 720 x 576 and don't worry about anything.

Render as "PAL DV Widescreen" if your source files are PAL DV 16:9 (Widescreen).
