My bookshelf is loaded with tutorials on older versions of Vegas. I looked at the Kindle version of this new book and it is nearly as much as the print edition. Wishing we repeat buyers could get a break on the cost of updating.
I just upgraded to Vegas Pro 11 and seen this book was available. I ordered the Kindle version because I have two monitors and figured I could have the book open on one and Vegas on the other. This seems to be the best way for me to learn. I really would like to get a copy of the DVD to follow along as I'm basically a beginner. Any ideas how to get the DVD or files?
Thanks,
Tom
Update to my last post- I contacted VAAST and they inturn contacted the publishing company about trying to get me the DVD as I bought the Kindle version. I've not heard back from the publishing company yet. Update- I did hear back today and they are shipping me the DVD

There will be a download available for Kindle users but it is not online yet. Check the Amazon page periodically and if / when I hear it is online from the publisher I will update this thread.
Thanks for that information. In the interim, the publishing company contacted me today and they are shipping me the DVD. They were very nice about it, high praise to them!!

> "Anybody seen DSE recently? Has he healed from his accident?"
I was just with him about 4 weeks ago at NAB 2012 in Las Vegas and he looked great and was feeling great considering what he's been through. He has an amazing spirit.
I had a completely different experience with the publisher. I purchased the Nook Edition of the book. Barnes and Noble phone support assured me that anything included with the print version would be available with the Nook purchase. However they were unable to really tell me if there was a download link or a location in the Nook version that would tell me how to obtain the DVD or its content. I called the publisher and emailed them a copy of my B and N receipt. They wrote back and told me that they did not offer the DVD content with any electronic versions. I offered to pay for a copy of the DVD but the answer was no. Could anyone advise who the right person might be to speak to or write to at the publisher? Currently I have the Nook version with no DVD content. Thanks!
