For me, build 683 (64bit) and NBT only work together with NBT build 111213.
My nVidia driver is 296.10.

I take it that is not the most recent version of NB Titler?

It was working fine until I start to play with it. Frustrating. It is actually saying I do not have enough graphics power in my card, though it was working before I upgraded everything.

Double check to make sure 3D settings for Vegas are enabled in Nvidia Control Panel.

@emmo5611..

No, it is not. It's about 3 back from the current Vegas version. It's the only one that'll let me open an existing title and create a new one.

I have a ticket open with NBT, but .......

Thanks, it was a global setting in NVidia

That did it!

Thanks!

Care to elaborate??
What global setting?

Tom,

It's the 3d setup in nVidia. I'm not sure whether it's unique to Dell mobile nVidia cards, but could be worth a try if you have problems.

Tried fiddling with some of the parameters after installing NBT 120402, with no change.

But then I have no idea what some of those settings actually affect. :-(

Be good to know which settings tweaks have influence here...

If you go into the NVidia menu, you have to tell the laptop to use your NVidia card with either every program or in some cases you can choose which one to have a program use. I clicked on the global setting so that instead of using my integrated graphics, every program uses the NVidia card. This cleared up the issues with Vegas. I had forgotten abou the setting from the first time I updated, but now that I have changed the settings, Vegas is smoking right a long without any freezes.

I hope you will report this to SCS.

Jøran,

It's a toss up between SCS and NBT. I think both should be aware of this.

The only thing that I am concerned about is that Sony does not show up in the list of programs that you can attached the NVidia card too. All my Adobe stuff shows up but not Vegas. It is not really an issue you just click on the the setting to have it work with all programs and you are fine. The only issue I see is that if you have multiple programs running that need the GPU it might slow things down.

Just click the "add" button and navigate to the Vegas executable.
Tom Pauncz wrote on 5/8/2012, 9:07 AM
I did that (added Vegas) and it made difference.
