Well as some of you may or may not be doing these days - holding out hope...
No news of any pending update for Acid Pro. A disappointment, I know!
2 days left of NAB - unless Sony Creative Software has something up there sleeves - looks like this event will come and go without what we desire the most. A shiny new Acid Pro version!

I feel like the bearer of bad news...

ACID Pro 8 gotcha down?, how about this?

PreSonus is now giving away a cut down version of STUDIO ONE for FREE!

Check it out:

ACID is dead and discontinued.

Although, you are ignoring the fact that ACID has never been announced at NAB.

True - not being announced at NAB, however - as per one of the other posts - it has been demonstrated at NAB.
I think there's been a lot of hope in the forums for a new version of ACID pro - we will have to wait until Summer NAMM to see if anything changes.

Did anyone from the forum go to NAB? And ask Sony staff about the future of AP?

Just a thought.

ACID is discontinued. Learn to live with it.

BTW - Summer NAMM is a virtual deadzone for anyone releasing anything. Winter NAMM is when big software releases used to be announced - but even that is starting to disappear as many majors have stopped making NAMM a priority

BTW: I have never heard of Sony ever making an announcement at NAMM about anything.
