So does Boris Continuum require you to purchase a license for the install of Vegas on a different computer?

The license is locked to your computer based on the Unique Product ID that your computer generates (and you send to them to get the unlock key). You would need to contact them with the PUID of the new computer. I don't know if they allow more than one license to be active at a time but they might allow for 2 (desktop/laptop) as most manufacturers do. That is a question to ask when you send them the info.
