recommended reverb plugin for post work on film?

what do people out there like to use for emulating different environments while doing sound work for film. I have Waves RVerb and TrueVerb but have never really liked either. I have fiddled with Speakerphone a little. But what has a good user interface for good acoustical simulation?

thanks in advance!

Convolution processors: Altaverb, SIR and Acoustic Mirror. The SIR seems to be the fastest to set-up and use, once you have the room impulse model. I also use the usual garden variety free and not-free reverbs and delays.. whatever works and how much time is available.

I'm actually a big fan of good old Sonic Foundry Acoustic Mirror-- it's pretty amazing.

Agreed on convolution reverbs. There are sites which host impulse responses from various room around the world.

The reverb in Ozone 5 is worth a look. I'ts better than previous versions.

You also might want to experiment with using 2 reverbs in the same fx chain. Only occasionally does it sound right but worth some experimentation.

Hi,
I have had excellent experience with Native Instruments Reflektor. It is also a convolution reverb. It is designed for music - but it is a really powerful and beautiful sounding reverb. Also easy to use.

I highly recommend it.

You would do some good at taking a look at overloud's BREVERB 2.
I have used it on a few projects now. Mixonline did the initial review of BREVERB 1 which had me buy it - and subsequently i bought the update.
Fantastic reverb plugin!
