I must apologize

First off, yeah, the Video Wave comment was cute and worth a chuckle. The software I bought was Sonar. The problems I have been having are audio related, not video. I do like Sonar alot, but it doesn't do video. I finished the project and saved my ass.
I do apologize for using this forum to vent frustration, although it did get more responses than anything else I've posted.
If I can get Vegas to run solidly, hey, I'm all about it. In the future I may try support mail.
I may be losin', but I ain't lost, yet.
By the way, does Vegas plan to have a "console veiw"?

Welcome back. The way this forum works it's easy to have your post get pushed back a few pages in no time.
I vote that SF should break the forum down to a few sub headings. Something like Pinnacle does for Studio DV.
Edit, capture/print-to-tape, creative corner, hardware problems. I don't like the idea of audio seperate from video, because I'm learning lots from the audio pros here.
Ideas anyone ?

What the hell is a console view? This is not Cubase VST. Vegas has individual channels to the left of every Track, it also has a mixer section for busses if your audio card has more than 1 output. This would be known as the "Master" section in VST. They're even resizeable and undockable, if they're not big enough for you. If you want a console view then goto the left side of your screen and stretch it out to make it fill the entire monitor. There is your console view!!! Maybe your frustrations are coming, because you haven't spent the time learning how to use the audio features in Vegas. They're very easy, I had originally thought that even an idiot could learn how to use them, because they're so intuitive and easy to use. Once again, I've been proven wrong.

"Console Veiw" was used as a generic term that would make sense to everybody. Simply to put something looking like a console on one monitor and the guts on the other would be cool. I'm not up to dual as of yet, but plan to soon. I was just wondering. So what angers you so much about asking something as simple as that?
It's degrading pole mouthed shit like your reply, that you all like to inject into threads that steer people away from using the forums. So my earlier thread of eff off was directed at your arrogance, not the software. Alot of us don't have the time to pick through every thing this a/v engine is capable of.
Or to trouble shoot. So we simply ask on the forum, "Any suggestions" and hope someone has had a same or similiar problem and "had the time to figure it out" or they themselves have read it else where.
There's no such thing as a stupid question. Part of your post was good and all, except for that talking down crap.
My "audio" problems seem to be hardware related, not vegas know how. Anything else you'd like to be-little me with Mr. KnowSoMuch?

Let's keep the posts about the software and not about each other. If somebody says something that you don't like, click on "Ignore this user" next to their name.
