Thanks for the heads up. I'll look forward to learning more about how it performs. Looks like a potentially useful mic for those using DSLR. Just copntemplating a move in that direction myself, so this is timely.

Rode products are great and cheaper, compared with others. I have 3 different models.

wow, just what i wanted, MORE buttons, switches, leds, and read out panels..... as if i haven't enough to distract me by wondering where the catering truck is ;-)

Interesting. I didn't see a SRP anywhere.

I have the Zoom H4n which by all acounts was aimed at musicians but has found a niche for DSLR work. The four track recording and abilty to do surround is a nifty bonus. It also plugs into USB on a PC and acts as an external mixer of sorts as well.
