Vegas and DVD Architect settings

Hello Folks. I use Vegas Movie Studio 10 Platinium to produce my video clips which then go into DVD Architect to be authored to create my DVDs. In almost every project the info messages appear in Architect saying the audio tracks will be recompressed. In order to stop these messages I tried to change the audio settings in Vegas so that they match the ones in Architect without success. Here are the parameters:
Vegas audio 224 Kbps, 48.000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo, MPEG
Architect audio AC-3 Stereo 224 Kbps
What can I do to avoid this recompression? Please advise. Many thanks.

To avoid the recompression, I render the audio from Vegas separately as a stereo AC-3 file and put it in the same directory with the video output for DVDA to pick up. Usually I am adjusting the sound toward the end of the edit, so this fits into my work flow as well.

Not near my editing system to tell you the name of the template for AC-3 but it is there. You have a choice when setting up the render of doing video+audio or only audio (or only video).

[Hopefully it works this way in Studio. I am using Vegas Pro 10.]
