I really miss my PluginPac 3D LE!!

I went from V9 to V10 and one thing I really missed is one of the 3rd party plugin that allowed me to crop left, right, top or bottom (without re-sizing the picture).

Is there an easier way to do this in V10 WITHOUT creating an extra track..(because the cropping is different on some clips and not always the same size).

I tried the cookie cutter but can't get the crop bottom as I would like..

Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Use Pan/Crop.

Change Source:
Maintain aspect to NO
Stretch to fill to NO

Thanks but that doesn't work well....I only want to crop the bottom of the screen and not the whole image...

I have V10 and PluginPac 3D LE works perfectly fine (in the 32 bit version). Could you elaborate on the issue at hand?

Uncheck Lock-Aspect-Ratio – the icon to the left of Rotation.
Then drag the handles and / or move the “crop-indicator” (rectangle)

I'm not sure I understand the problem... I'm on version 10 right now and 3D plugin pac works fine. Are you saying it doesn't work in 10?

The trick here is as Joran advised.

Using the event Pan/Crop you must untick both the Lock Aspect and Size About Center buttons, along the left edge, as well as make sure the Strech to Fill... drop down option under the Source block is set to "No". The last is vital.

I actually did not know this was possible till I just played with it in response to this thread. Thanks.

Willem.

Ahh got it! The trick was with Uncheck Lock-Aspect-Ratio...hey thanks Jordan!

I'm using V10 64-bit and the plugin does not appear. In v9 32-bit it works.

Julius. Your problem demonstrates that in general it’s better to use the tools built into Vegas, rather than rely on plug-ins that might be discontinued.
