Hi, enquired about this awhile back! So I do a surround mix into soundforge 10 as six wav files.....I then save that as an AC3 file.....which from that point on soundforge cannot deal with that AC3 file!.....How do I get that AC3 file onto a dvd so that when i put it into my home cinema system, it plays a surround mix?

Easiest way is to author a DVD in Architect; if it's an audio-only program, I believe you can omit the video or put in some background video if you want.

You shouldn't be expecting to open the AC3 file in Sound Forge. Encoding to AC3 should be the last step you do before burning, so all the editing should be done.

Why are you trying to open it in Sound Forge? And whatever the reason is, why didn't you do whatever it was before AC3 encoding?
