Subject:help changing the size of edit track list box

While editing the names of several tracks I think I double clicked on something which caused the edit track list box to stretch the width of the screen. I can change the height of the box using the little arrows at the top or bottom of the box but not reduce the width since the little arrows that appear when the mouse is on the left or right edge changes the width of the whole program not just the edit track list box.

Closing the program does not help either.

Any suggestions?

Grab the 'docking handle" - the dotted vertical bar under the 'X' top left of the Undo-List (or whatever) window, and drag it somewhere to the left until the window snaps back to it's original size.

Even though there are save & restore layout features, i'd still really like it if the whole Sony suite had an option for "lock current layout", and then nothing could dock or undock, either deliberately or accidentally. I have with years of use come up with an arrangement i like for which windows can float around and which are locked into place, and i get very annoyed when i "miss" with the mouse and drag something elsewhere. After my initial setup period in the first few minutes of installing and tweaking the program, i don't want those things to be changeable anymore.

Good point Kelly. Same here, once I set the layout, I rarely change it and it's very annoying to accidentally grab something by mistake and drag it off the toolbar.. especially when trying to work fast to meet deadlines and such.
Not to go off on a tangent, but the same for Vegas.. that and locking an event to the timeline without locking all the other event functions. At least it now indicates it was moved though. [/tangent]
