Subject:Any Fix for CD Architech and Plug ins?

I have used Sound Forge many years - great software developed by another company Not Sony. Emailed questions are answered slowly. I do not like some of the changes in Sound Forge 10 and have had a hard time turning them off. Emailed answers are not always clear . .
My latest issues:
I loaded CD Architech and it did not find the Sound Forge plug-ins on my computer. I emailed Sound Forege and was told to reinstall as a different Administrator - that did not work. Then the Tech sent a long list of uninstalls and registry changes which I reluctantly tried. Didn't Work! They Sould REally Supply an Clean UNinstall program as other companies do!
However, because I had been uninstalling and reinstallin Sound Forge 10 I am now locked out and cannot register the software. Of course, That is rediculous as the codes including the machine code have not changed. I emailed them for help - oh boy!
Any Suggestions on how I can fix this?
Thanks,
Bax

Sonic Foundry originally designed SF (Acid and Vegas for that matter) SCS made many improvements since the acquisition. Support was not one of them. It's well documented SCS's tech support sucks. And from what I've read, they usually just give one size fits all answers. I assume they are aware of their reputation and 'working' on it.

What exactly are you having trouble with? A design flaw or just a isolated incident specific to your system. If you elaborate, perhaps 'we' can help.

"They Sould REally Supply an Clean UNinstall program as other companies do!"

FWIW, "REVO's Uninstaller" is a free program that works very well, removes reg. entries and other 'crap' the normal uninstall procedure leaves behind.

Norton would be one of them. Search for Notron removal tool for an example.
