weird stuff going down

I've been having a recurring problem. Occasionally, when I save a project with multiple video tracks, and I close Vegas, then I go back into Vegas, I find that some of the video events are messed up. What I mean is like... the video event is STILL there... however, the actual video IN the event is NOT the original video I want; instead, it's another part of random video. I can't really explain it, I'm sorry. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I've never seen this problem, but I've had this problem in the past with audio using other programs and it was due to the hard drive was highly fragmented. I would recommend defragging your hard drives and see if that helps.

AS rednroll said, I had the same problem with another audio program (acid music 2.0) and never resovled it. The deframent idea sounds solid as I was so green I never did this. If you've saved within the project after this random event loading has taken place, I would wonder if defragmenting will help the current mix-up. Try any back up you have before the problem started after defragmention.
