Subject:soundcard select toolbar missing in SF10.0c

Using SF10.0c on W7 x64. I have 2 sound cards.

In SF7 there was a Play Device toolbar, which quickly enabled you to switch outputs by selecting different sound cards. This feature seems to be missing in SF10, couldn't find it anywhere in the menus.

Anyone know if this can be done in SF10?

Not running 10 myself, but maybe View --> Toolbars?

I'm currently not on my PC that has SF-10 but think I recall right-clicking the waveform scale (to the left of the waveform display) has device options. I will investigate later when I get home.

Jeepers, we lost that several versions ago I think. Pity - harmless and useful for those of us with multiple interfii.

Try Options|Preferences|Audio instead.

Checked all the toolbars already, it's not in there. Right-clicking waveform scale brings up some zoom options, but no output select.

Looks like i will indeed have to go to Prefs -> Audio each time I want to swap outputs. Well, it's not the end of the world, but I'm curious to find out why this feature was removed in the first place.

I think that was the concensus when it happened. Never really got an answer .

I guess somebody was doing a UI tidy-up and considered it superfluous and that it wouldn't be missed ;-|
