… and render fit for purpose.

Yah just gotta larf........

I'm no MacHead, but my iPhone would have to be removed surgically from my dead hand.

OK, methinks I want TomTom for my iPhone. Oooooo, nice. I get to their website and I find descriptions and piccies of what I COULD expect to have on my iPhone. Truly kewl.

Ooooooo what is this I see? A tutorial of the features -- just click here!!!

You've guest right. The tutorial for this iPhone enabled feature rich, me-want s/w is in>>> Tarah!!! FLASH! And guess what? My iPhone won't play FLASH!

Totally silly, if it wasn't so downright BIZZARE!

So, when rendering in VEGAS, do make sure the client is clear on what they want.

Ironic.

I don't know who is going to win this war between Adobe and Apple (see http://news.cnet.com/8301-30685_3-20003739-264.html. That's why I chose to use the free JW Player on my personal website (www.ToRealize.net: It claims that it can be configured to revert to HTML5 for devices that can't play Flash.

Sure, and I may not know who is gonna win the War, but I sure as hell knows who's losing it - the end User!

I know the topic for this post is regarding flash video for the iPhone, but the same problem existed for the iPad. I have an iPad and it drives me nuts when I can't play a video.

I did some digging in the iTunes store and found an app called "Flash Video Discover" from PLD Soft that adds flash player for the iPad. It's about $10 and I haven't purchased it just yet, but am thinking about it. I don't see that it's available for the iPhone though. Maybe someday....
